Sensitization Meeting of the Forum of Primary Health Care Development Committees
The International Society of Media in Public Health (ISMPH) / Initiative for Health Accountability and Transparency (IHAT) facilitated a Sensitization Meeting of the Forum of Primary Health Care Development Committees on their Roles and Responsibilities to Promote Provider Accountability and Patients’ Rights.
The meeting took place at the Seric hall, Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency in Yola North. To improve the understanding of the WDCs about Patients’ Rights and Grievances Reporting and Resolution. A total of 30 stakeholders attended the meeting.
Key discussions centered on the roles and responsibilities that the ward development committees are saddled with to ensure that Provider Accountability and the Rights of Patients are promoted and protected.
